| For you New Yorkers any way to make this happen?? |
|
Zero. There is no legislative recall process in the (formerly) Great State of New York.
He would have to lose in the next election, which isn't happening. He could resign, but the subjects in NY would need a scandal bigger than Weiner, Silver and Skelos, combined. Hopefully he strokes out. |

The voters of NYS have very little say in things. The assembly districts are so rigged that it is virtually impossible for that legislative body to ever fall out of democrat control. NYC routinely dictates policy for rural areas hundreds of miles away. Upstate NY is a true example of taxation without representation.
People really need to stop voting for Schumer though. I'll never understand that. |

I simply can't wrap my head around people going out to the polls to overwhelmingly support Trump while at the same time filling in the circle for Chucky because they think he's just such an essential figure. To be fair though, it's not like the state GOP ever makes a real effort to defeat him. |
| I voted against him in the last election. During my brief look at both candidates' campaign material, I noticed that he doesn't actually have a campaign website, and I couldn't find any evidence of him running a re-election campaign at all. Despite not even running a campaign, he swept the vote with a 40% margin. Nothing is impossible, but electing Trump is a mere tremor compared to the political earthquake that would be required for Schumer to lose an election without some sort of massive scandal. |

Yeah, because generally either no one runs against him, or its so no name, no money turd who has no choice....I was talking in general national elections...usually all the counties are red except downstate, Ithaca, Utica, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo....oh and Plattsburgh which depends heavily on state jobs... |

Some fun facts about Schumer's recent win
Nov. 8, 2016 - Sen. Charles Schumer easily won a fourth term Tuesday against underdog candidate Wendy Long. Schumer led by 42 percentage points over Long, 67 percent to 25 percent, a poll from Siena College said Sunday. Long, a Manhattan attorney, ran for the U.S. Senate before: in 2012 against Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand. Gillibrand beat Long with 72.2 percent of the statewide vote, besting a modern record Schumer set when he won his second term in 2004. Schumer, 65, has never lost an election, and he was first elected to the state Assembly in 1974 at age 23. He then was elected to the U.S. House in 1980. Schumer's campaign cash dwarfed Long's money, and he was able to pump millions of dollars into other races around the country. He had $17 million in his warchest last month, while Long had just $154,000.
Source tl;dr: His opponent was a woman with no money who had already suffered a record-breaking loss to Gillibrand. |
