Yes but most people equate bagpipe as Scottish Highland Bagpipe. As evidenced by the above videos. But yes Bagged instruments were common in many cultures.

Most other cultures were smart enough to abandon them once they figured out how to make real instruments.

Scots beat the world in whisky though, that science is settled.

my dad's parents, and mom's grandparents all came from Scotland.
Our family still has land there.

How I wish they didnt so solidly embrace the socialism
