| Picked mine up 2 weeks ago and trigger pull was heavy out of box. Sent to Ruger. Back in a week. They replaced...the everything. Much improved but just received it back today so no range time to compare to LCP 1. I run the LCP 1 with rubber Hogue and painted front sight. Going to do the same to LCP II sight so it is easier to acquire. |

I got mine last week and already shot it. I guess I win? how,s it chute ¿ + Frame texture is good Slide serrations are great Slide lock is very nice to have Wider frame makes it much nicer to shoot Trigger pull is absolutely amazing compared to the original model and the reset is fairly short and obvious. The trigger is fairly wide and flat, the safety is flat and flush with the trigger when depressed. Very comfortable. Slide seems easy to manipulate especially with the aggressive slide serrations. The included pocket holster is quite serviceable. - Front sight needs some paint to make it stand out, it's a bit small but that's what you get on a pocket pistol. Mine is kinda cranky if I slingshot the slide on a reload, slide stop works 100% so I'm good with that for now. I'll get more rounds down range and reevaluate. It's crazy small (G19 EDC) and I'm still getting used to shooting this micro pistol so I can't give you much accuracy evaluation. 8" plates at 5 yards was as challenging a target as I tried. All in all I'm very pleased with it so far and glad I picked it up. I'll probably pick up a kydex pocket holster, the trigger has a moderate amount of weight to it but has a fairly short pull. Once you take out the slack (very light pressure required) there's not much travel to finish the pull. I'm just not personally a fan of soft holsters anyway and I'd feel better with a kydex holster with this trigger. Probably not necessary right away as the included holster is fairly stiff, for now at least. |

Ive picked up an LCP II within the first week they came out and love it. It shoot very accurate and I don't have any issue shooting a couple boxes of ammo when I hit the range. I believe I paid $300 OTD.
I do not like pocket carrying so finding a IWB holster that keeps the gun up high enough to easily retrieve is a bit of a pain. So far that and the expensive magazines are the only downside. |

| I've shot my LCP II but 106 rounds at this point. Somehow, Ruger took the same gun dimensionally and transformed it to be a much more shootable pocket pistol. The recoil is much more manageable, and the sights are an upgrade without being an obtrusive snag (which is what prevented me from obtaining a Custom). Slide lock back on empty is a godsend that I never even realized I missed with the LCP1. The manageability of the pistol I think comes from the improved pull of the trigger. Also, it doesn't seem to snap as much as the original for whatever reason. Color me impressed. No failures, though an admittedly small round count through mine thus far. |
| I want one, but if I buy one, I don't know what i'll do with my first gen LCP I have carried since 2012....I haven't been upset with the first gen original though, people whine about dumb shit. The horrible trigger was "the safety" and the low profile milled sights were snag proof. you don't even need sights on a pistol like this, it's for up close self defense...not target shooting or combat etc. |

They make them for the LCP II already. |
