There is also the possibility that Gorsuch’s presence would reassure Kennedy about the direction of the Court and make him more willing to let Trump name his own replacement.

Thanks OP, I was hoping someone started an official SCOTUS nomination thread. I can't wait until the obstructionism by the dems is crushed by the use of the nuclear option and the nominee is confirmed. It will be so gratifying for conservatives to see the dems pouting like children and whaling in agony. It is going to be a cause for celebrating bigly!!

The Dems have already clearly stated they will vigorously oppose ANY candidate Trump appoints for SCOTUS. Since that's the case, there is no reason for Trump to even consider somebody that is remotely amenable to Dems . You go all in, scorched earth, and pick the most conservative candidate you have.. |
