Outside of LEO's who carries at work?

Myself, I don't. I totally empty my pockets first thing when I get there.

[#1]
Can't carry in the hospital.

We make barrels & certain gun parts.

Most of us carry at work. Even when running CNC or manual machines.

[#3]
I have probably 2 or 3 times. I can't carry on the big budget shit.
1/30/2017 10:45:09 PM EDT
[#4]
Carry an LCP on me and keep a Sig 2022 in my backpack.

Work says have to leave it in the car
1/30/2017 10:45:50 PM EDT
[#6]
Been known to.

I do. For our family owned business I always have. Recently I took in a day job with a friend who needed help and she is fine with me carrying. Since there is a range down the street I just bring extra ammo and mags and go shoot once a week so it works out perfectly.

[#8]
I do. I also have a carbine in my toolbox. Regular ORM-D shipments in my name show up at work too.

Concealed means something or the other.

[#10]
I do.....
1/30/2017 10:51:32 PM EDT
[#11]
I leave mine in the car due to the company's no-gun policy. I ignore it most places, but I move around too much at work and most people would probably report me to HR if they caught a glimpse.

Hoping to find a more freedom friendly job this year though
1/30/2017 10:54:17 PM EDT
[#12]
Nope, I work for a bank and they have a pretty strict no gun policy. It would absolutely cost me my job if caught. Risk / reward.
1/30/2017 10:56:42 PM EDT
[#13]
I'd rather not say.
1/30/2017 10:56:43 PM EDT
[#14]
LCP in my pocket. Company has a no gun policy but they would have to get in my pocket to confirm I was carrying. That's not happening so I'm not worried.

[#15]
Pistol and rifle. Pistol is always on me and rifle is always in the truck. I often work close enough to the Mexican border out in BFE with usually no more than a crew of 4. I like to be prepared for anything that might happen.
1/30/2017 10:58:10 PM EDT
[#16]
I do
Self employed

My last job I carried every day even though it was against the rules. Now I work from home so...
1/30/2017 11:04:20 PM EDT

Everyday.

Rifle in the truck.

LOL.  You're blind.  I work in cardio and nearly everyone I sell to has a gun on them in the face of hospital policy.  Think about that.  The chair of EP carries in every case he brings to the hospital....

Against the rules at work.

So, yes. I do.

I carry in the office every day.  The guy who owns the company appreciates it.  He is a dick otherwise.

Auto termination if found with a gun. I could get away with it easy because 75% of my day I'm alone on the road. It's the time I'm at the terminal in the morning or if a customer notices and complains.
1/30/2017 11:13:32 PM EDT
[#25]
I carry everyday and have to go into a lot of restricted areas but fuck their signs. I know how to conceal.

Every day.  Software developer.  No one even notices

I carry at work. But I work from home or in the field 95% of the time.

Last week, I got to carry through a court room because I was working. Building and planning dept. temporarily located on the same floor as the court due to construction and I didn't know. Talked to a guard and told him my scenario, and he walked me right through.

On duty as a career FF/PM our policy does not allow it.

I do not carry as the job is too valuable to risk it.  Luckily I see my primary role in CCW is to protect my family.  When I am on duty I am not around my family.

My Wife does carry 24/7.  I carry every moment I am not on duty.  Even at home.

So yes.

I do every day. It's against company policy. However, my superiors and immediate coworkers also carry... so I don't think it's much of an issue even if I'm caught.

Now if I use it, I fully expect to be fired. But that is better than the alternative.

yes, I carry at work. but my company is owned by my family who is conservative and pro gun, so does not matter.

Aside from planning on going out drinking, I can't remember the last time I left the house without a gun since I got my first carry permit.

My boss would be fucking shocked that I have at least 1 gun on me at all times, and since the election, frequently 2. Being an outspoken Trump supporter in a liberal area, yeah, I've been taking extra precautions. I also live next to a mosque..

I did OC at my boss's house one day when she needed me to use my truck to move something that wouldn't fit in her SUV. It was my day off, and I was coming back from shooting, so I just went with the fuck it, it's my day off, and my truck is full of guns approach.

every day and all the womerns that work for me do to.
1/31/2017 12:23:41 AM EDT

Carry is dependent on the work I am doing.....most of the time it is in my tool box at arms reach. To be on my person would be sometimes cumbersome!
That said I also know my boss has a firearm in his front desk....so there is that!

Switched to a company that actually promotes it. Previously worked for a company that banned it and it was hell.

I swap guns from time to time with my boss, we both carry, and like to bring in different things just for the hell of it sometimes. So I keep a pistol on my side, and a shot gun within a few steps. He keep a pistol on his side, revolver on his ankle and another pistol in his office.
1/31/2017 12:26:17 AM EDT
[#48]
I can't due to company policy, however patrons open carry in the shop all the time. We are not a posted gun free zone, go figure.
1/31/2017 12:28:01 AM EDT
[#49]
Can't carry, Prison. Although their are armed guards patrolling the perimeter, in towers and at the main gate, so I am not to concerned. On top of that our belongings are searched on the way in, and I know where the gun vault, and the keys to get in are located..
1/31/2017 12:33:55 AM EDT
[#50]
Can't carry at work.  Carry everywhere else legally allowed.
