I have an open wall space over some new countertops where there are no cabinets. I am trying to decide what to put over it. I would not consider a wine rack since I already have a place for wines.

Here is a picture of the space

This is a LACK shelf from IKEA

Considering putting up two LACK shelves, one at the top of the backsplash and another halfway up to the ceiling

I already have a longer matching LACK over the window

Here is another choice. LED lighted shelves

Not sure how to make a poll but I'm looking for opinions

1) LACK shelving
2) LED Light shelving
3) Leave plain

This is going to sound crazy, but hear me out. What about cabinets?

Is that a wine cooler or beverage cooler below?  Not sure on the multiples of cabinets top vs bottom (if they line up) but maybe a cabinet with glass front for glassware and to break up the wall of cabinets.

It's just a beverage cooler. There are more than enough cabinets on the opposite side. I could put another cabinet but thought shelves would be different.

Continue the wall cabinet run to the end . That is what I would have done.

Good idea as it looks like he hasn't installed the new ones yet.

The thought was open shelving at the end would make the room look bigger

That space needs some art

glass cabinets with same finish as adjacent cabinets.

Also, I'd rip out that backsplash... it screams 1987.

I've never met anyone that said they wish they had less cabinet space.

I'd put up more shelves so you can fit more dolls on it.
