Happy to finally be protecting a First Family that loves America?

It must have been a rough 8 years for them. I feel sorry for the guys the pulled the short straws and have to protect FBHO and the Wookies.

I bet there tired of picking the Newport butts out of the rose garden.

<------ very much looking forward to the first protective detail member who steps forward to tell of all the shenanigans of the past 8 years.

I'm willing to bet there's an entirely different attitude among them tonight.

It's their job, and they don't have huge huge preferences by and large.

You likely won't be hearing tons of stories from former agents.  The Obamas aren't particularly douchey to the SS folks.  You won't be hearing any Hillary-type stories.

I would share beers with Dan Bongino and listen to his stories. Though he's a professional who I doubt would ever say anything.

All these stories and books and Secret Service guys talking about the people they protect is a really bad idea. They need to maintain their professionalism and STFU. Every time these stories come out their protectees trust them less with their personal life.

A good friend of mine is retired Secret Service, he was ready to take an early retirement over dealing with Hitlery. He was lucky to have enough seniority to be able to transfer out to California to protect President Reagan in retirement. He always spoke very highly of Preident Reagan, when President Reagan passed away, my friend felt like he had lost his father he looked up to him so highly.

I have heard the same as well. He might have been a douche who damn near completely ruined us, but he treats his staff very well from the accounts I heard.

Quite a few of Trump's employees have come out to talk about how well he treats them.

If anything, I'd imagine most of the SS guys are relieved to have a house where they don't have to contemplate every word that comes out of their mouths, wondering how it might offend someone.

I don't know how they were treated by the Obamas, but they were high fivin' when they learned the Hildabeast lost.

Yeah, that part doesn't change regardless who is in office.

During the campaign it was well known that Trump's detail was much preferred to FHRC, whose members were basically forced into the job of protecting that she-devil.

And even though he's quite obviously a narcissist and I flat out disagree with his politics, FBHO is known to be a pretty good guy to all staffers.  I haven't heard any first hand account of his detail, but I imagine they quite liked him.

Hard to hide a P90 under a nicely tailored coat.
