I had heard several rumors about Mr Rodgers. But last year I was really bored, emailed and asked him. The reply was that Mr Rodgers never served, but that they had heard this kind of thing before. Then they thanked me for actually writing and asking.

I heard that Mr. Rogers sang that Neighborhood song while he was cutting the ears off dead chicoms. The producers of the show wouldnt let him wear that ear-necklace on the air though.
