| For those guys old enough to remember tying a string between 2 cans and running it across the room,,,,,if one of the two cans were under water, and the can were surrounded by a object to prevent water from filling in the can.....would the sound still transmit to the inside of the can? |

This needs real world testing.
First, you and your co-worker consume enough beer that each of you thinks the other is inebriated. Second, both of you open a can of Campbell's chicken noodle soup (this will remind you of being a kid and make it more fun. Studies have shown that research done with Campbell's soup is much more fun than research done with Progresso or other soups). Then eat the soup, basically drink it straight from the can. You're grown men after all so you shouldn't be afraid of some cold soup. Third, string. You'll need string. How you get the string is up to you, but I would suggest listening to the beer for ideas. Fourth, put it all together along with the contraption to keep water out of the other can, making sure that you can still get the under water can to your ear. Fifth, and this is where is gets tricky. One of you has to get down to his speedo's and get in the water. This time of year this is going to be a penis shrinking ordeal so if that's your thing you get in the water, if not, have him do it. Either way you're flirting with gayness by this point ("Not that there's anything wrong with that." Jerry Seinfeld). Sixth, if neither of you has drowned at this point, post pictures and results. |
