Hey Guys.  I'm going to be starting a kitchen remodel soon.  I will be taking out a couple walls and moving things around a bit.  Is there a simple on-line CAD program available to get some rough ideas of what I want the finished product to look like?  It doesn't need to be very detailed.  Just something I can tinker with.

Draftsight is a good free version of AutoCAD (Very) Light, if that's what you are looking for.

Bonus points if it can do a side view as well as a top view.

Yeah I think it's got a free trial but we had to eventually use our sw licenses at work to renew.

If you can scare up a .edu email address, you can get nearly anything Autodesk offers for free.

Take your dimensions to the lumber yard and get a bid on the cabinets.  They will give you back 3-d renderings of the whole works.
