I have to admit that the appearance of the layout is slowly getting better.

Seems much improved just this morning.

Biggest change, for me personally, is that the makeover has forced me to move to Chrome instead of IE. That in itself is a transitional experience that I'm just now becoming somewhat comfortable with.
