I am conservative. Until I discover an overwhelming reason for it, I consider change for the sake of change bad. At best it wastes time adjusting, effecting productivity. Right now I am on a laptop, but can not imagine posting off my usual ipad with this format.
So far I notice that much of the formatting will probably be hard to reach with a touch screen. The enlarged avatar pictures make everything previously stored look like hell, and it drastically cuts into the real estate of the tread. Since the treads real estate is diminished, the auto hyphen feature kicked in - which is annoying in it's own right I don't like centralized control limiting my freedom. |

My avatar is more flaggy and banana-ey. I like the post features bar on the top so I don't have to scroll down to modify what I wrote or quoted. I also like the spoiler tag button since I use that UBB feature. Plenty of people complained about posts that should have used it in the past. Maybe the user didn't know the UBB code for it. That indulges a bit of laziness, but we are nothing if not lazy. Ask site staff. I'm sure they can confirm that.
The preview feature is an improvement. I use it and it's much easier to get away from the preview if you want to edit. I'll have to play with it some more to see what else I can do with it. The photo in today's Astronomy Picture Of The Day thread looks very good. |

I am not a tech oriented person and change fucks me up terribly. I will have to reconsider paying for a renewed membership if I don't adjust quickly and easily. On first impressions I can't find my usual navigation buttons (I hate having to go hunting for them) I hate drop down menus and side bar navigation. I like a top bar button style so I can see everything all at once. I really hate big ad banners (mostly because I don't fall prey to advertising stimuli, if I want to buy something, then a drop down might be acceptable) I fucking hate and will resist windows 10 until I have no other choice.
