I placed an order for 40 boxes of the Remington ammo, as other places I usually order from were out of stock due to the coupon demand.    This was my first order with them.
Today, after not hearing anything other than the original "Your Order Is Placed" email, i checked my order status on the website.  It says nothing other than "cancelled" with no explanation.   However, my card was charged for all 40 boxes of ammo, which isn't cheap for a social worker.   There has still been no refund, and I've spent over a half hour waiting for online customer service, while I sit on the phone waiting for customer service too.

Is this is reputable company?   I'm having my doubts.   I thought they were a pretty major chain store in the south, but it seems like they only have a few locations.    Kinda worried.

Fly by night company.  Not reputable at all.

Just kidding.  They have the selection you want with none of the customer service you expect.  The store is worse, but I still like shopping there because they have so much stuff.

I don't buy shit from them after they removed all ARs, even toy ones after the Pulse shootings. They changed ownership a while back and now they suck.

Meh easiest way by far to pick up XM193 and XM 855 420 round ammo cans.

They never stopped selling ARs.  They stopped displaying & advertising ARs for a few weeks.  I sold several ARs during that period.

OP, call customer service.  They'll take care of you.

So i finally got off the phone with customer service, and got a "Yeah, your card was never charged because your order didn't ship".    Well, I'm clearly looking at a $400+ charge from Academy on my online banking.   "Nah, we don't charge until it ships, and your order never shipped".    I INSISTED that I'm looking at a charge on my online banking, so the man puts me on hold for 10+ minutes, comes back, and says "Yeah, we'll credit that to your bank and zero balance your account right now".

So then i asked about why there was NO notification about my order being cancelled, which caused me to miss the Remington rebate window.

"Sorry, it's busy this week".

Oh cool, no worries.   I missed out on $7/box ammo, but no big deal.


NEVER again.
