Seems like Firefox is getting slower and slower and is having more frequent compatibility conflicts with more websites (Midway and Photobucket just to name 2). So where to turn? What I want is something that can remember my passwords, runs reasonably quick, and plays well with other websites. If it matters I am using a ASUS laptop i7 2.5 GHz 6 GB running Windows 10. Thanks. |

Chrome is probably the way to go. That said, I do really like IE 11 (making me one of the few tech people in the world that likes IE) and it wouldn't be a bad choice but stay away from Microsoft Edge, it is the worst browser I have ever used. I like edge. It's not perfect but it seems to run a lot faster than firefox for me. |
| If you're looking to switch, check out Chromium. It's Chrome minus the Big Brother. |

Having problems with images on my iMac with Firefox. IE11 or Chrome seem to work well on my other Windows based machines. Chrome here. Been using it for some time. Actually switched from iPhone and iPad when I couldn't use an ad blocker on them. Saved a shitload of money buying a full size Chromebook over a new iPad and picking up a Samsung Galaxy s7 over the iPhone with its pay through the nose cost to get decent memory. |

Microsoft Edge.
Let me explain. It and Internet Explorer are the only two browsers I know of that can actually display the FULL URL in the address bar without having to install some stupid addon or mess with some code somewhere Examples: Chrome https://www.cnet.com/news/google-test-hides-web-addresses-in-chrome/ Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/997900 I will not use a browser that will not show me the full address. I give both a try about once a year, and it's always the same result. |

For me, it's a deal breaker. |

I personally have had nothing but issues with its performance compared to other browsers and there is basic core functionality I expect a browser to be able to do that is missing like being able to edit a url in a bookmark (and yes that comes up all the time for me). |

I use Chrome, but I'll probably switch to Vivaldi once it's refined a bit. I have been using Vivaldi for a while now and I love it. I have a bit of a browser problem as I use FireFox, Opera, Vivaldi and Chrome on my home computer daily. I also have Edge and Tor for those things that work better for Edge and Tor. All run in their own sandboxes via Sandboxie. |
