Just watched Stargate on tv, the movie.  It's a nice bit of entertainment but something struck me as funny.  The so-called special forces in this movie apparently don't cock their gun until right before they start shooting.  The bad guys show up in the pyramid, the good guys grab there guns and cock them.  One gun cocks his gun again right before he ducks around the corner.  Later, the good guys run into the pyramid then cock their guns again as the begin searching.  Lots of cocks in this movie.

Made by the same idiots that did the Tommy Lee Jones Fugitive 2 crap- [b]constantly[/b] racking the slides on their Glocks. So I guess they always carry a Glock w/ an empty chamber???

They were using MP5's, right?  Maybe when they were offscreen, they were shooting, and they'd just inserted another mag, and because MP5's don't have bolt hold open devices, they had to recock them all the time.

If they're doing that with their pistols, well, one of the guys on that 'special forces' team played Harry from 3rd Rock (French Stewart).  What did you expect?
