Remember this was right before Hurricane Sandy, and right when the Bengazi scandal started to appear.

I will not tell anyone how to vote.  I am tired of all the BS about how the polls are wrong.  Don't be a true believer.

I agree with you OP, but Trump's most ardent supporters are not going to be convinced by facts or history.  Kind of like liberals...

Folk here were pessimistic back then too. We keep thinking people will vote with their heads but they don't. I expect the same again this year as Democrats will come out to vote for the first woman president, just like they did for the first black president.

If that were the case why isn't FHRC getting as much female support as FBHO?

One thing they got right in that thread was this...

The pollsters think that Democrats are going to be the same percentage(or greater, in some cases) of votes in the presidential election this year as they were in 2008.

FBHO lost a ton of support.

The problem was people gave up after Romney bombed the last two debates and R turnout wasn't correct.

Did you know that the mean man named Donald Trump made his staff of the Apprentice come to work despite the area still being under
a state of emergency.

The dynamic was different back then. It's really hard to unseat a second term Kenyan.

History repeats.

Any wagers on what conservative imposter the Republican Party nominates in 2020?  Surely it will win on the fourth try.

I'm not saying Trump is going to win, but I am saying nothing about this cycle is like any other. Trying to compare anything from the last ones to now if folly. Not to mention that either side could still pull out another bombshell.

It could all change tomorrow. I hope it does.  We just have a population that is prepared to live in denial and claim fraud if their candidate does not win.

I would take almost anyone over Hillary.

That, and we seriously won't survive a term of Hillary without Great Troubles both domestically and in The World.

Make sure you double check your voting record.  Apparently there had been some irregularities going on with the voting machines here in Elko.

The machine is not voting for the person the voter has selected.
