[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Polls Starting To Reflect Reality (Page 1 of 6)

All of you who've been using the poll numbers from the last couple weeks to spread doom and gloom, please go here and look at the latest results. The 4-way general election polls are tightening and many are showing Trump leading. Many of us have been saying for months that the polls would start to tighten as the election gets closer because the pollsters have to save face. If their predictions are wildly different than the actual outcome, they lose all credibility. The RCP national average is still using older polls to show a big lead for Clinton but you can expect next week's average to show them tied or within a point or 2 of each other. The polls are starting to mirror 2000... Anyone who posts "Romney in a Landslide!" or similar, will die of AIDS within 3 months. |

87 States! believe me, its gonna be yuuge! #maga Get on or get run over Choo Choo! I hope so. I hope it's so huge that they call it "The Second American Revolution". |

Myself and many like me have never been polled. Why because I have never registered to vote, despite my strong political beliefs the whole system has struck me as a farce. Until this year, and I am sure if it pissed me off enough to actually register at 52 y/o for the first time then I sure the hell can't be the only person. We don't appear on call or mailing lists this election, we are uncounted, and un-measured and a huge wildcard nobody can account for until after Nov 8th. |

There were several news stories especially during the primaries of unprecedented levels of new voter registrations across the country most were Republican. The last story I saw came out of Pennsylvania last week. 100,000 Democrats switched to Republican plus a total of 240,000 new republican registrations. The media is burying these stories deep. |

I didn't register until after the primaries in fact I did it on day 31 when day 30 was the cut-off to vote for the general. I am a person that does not like to as you say get involved and pretty much relied on other people to do the right thing. When Hillary got elected I had to finally step up and do my part as I could not sit by and let the demise of my nation fall to such a low and grievous point in history. So there may be many thousands more of people like me not counted in primaries yet keeping their powder dry for Nov 8th...You never know and nobody else does either. |

Nor any cross reference to current registrations as a percentage by state to gauge an actual reflection of voters. It's all utter fucking BS and anybody posting this crap is just as bad as MSM, CNN, ABC, NBC or any other fucking hack. I am proof positive that there is a silent and large group of people that don't show up on any radar that will vote. This goes both ways for Trump or for Hillary, the Polls are crap this election and have no viable meaning other than to sell commercials. |

ETA: Spent most of my life in SoCal, Newport Beach which is republican by and large. However, LA, SanFran pretty much dictated the vote for the state and it was always Democrat. So why bother when you are a distinct minority? Now I am in SC, and not a battleground state by any means this shit has fucking pissed me off. I know what the Clintons did. I Know Bill Clinton rewrote the home loan guidelines that created the crash of 2008 due to requirements to lend to minorities which led to liar loans which led to a fucking shit storm of epic proportions that got blamed on Bush. Not saying any one presidency was 100% to blame as they all took part, but Bill Clinton set up the playing field and squandered all the Reagan gains in manufacturing and job creation with NAFTA. |
