Thought I'd have a go at this. Decided to do a tenderloin sandwich tonight.


Prep- tenderloin, red bell pepper, onion, mushroom, and brie cheese. Beer Is 8th Wonder Hopston


Rest after cooking, then slice. Money shot. Had to have a couple slices as they were.


On the bun. Spent a couple minutes in the oven melting the Brie and warming the bun up.


Didn't think I'd need a fork.. but enough eventually fell out to make its own little side dish .


Full pic to get the guns in the frame. Sorry for the shitty lighting, but you get the point.

Wasn't a bad meal at all!

Edit for guns- Glock 19 w/ TiRant 45, Colt 6920 form 1'd and chopped to 10.3 w/ Specwar K.

Edit 2- Knife used was a Tojiro DP 210mm Gyuto. I have a few and used them when I worked at a restaurant in college. I couldn't recommend them enough. VG-10 steel, nice weight on them and they hold a great edge. Great knives, especially for the price.

Mid rare is a great choice as well, and I'll never turn down a mid-rare steak. I just feel bad cooking a tenderloin that much

I like mine Med-rare, that looks almost uncooked than rare. Only reason I could tell it was cooked what so ever was the slight brown sear around the edge.

I'm going to have to deduct a point for no sides, and another for the temperature of the steak.

8/10.

Solid 9/10 if it spent 1 more minute on the pan/grill.

I think next time I'll have to do a side of steak fries or something. And not something like chips, that would be too simple and not worthy of a dinner pic. I agree with that.

I work down the road from a Buc-ees. Next time I'll save up my pennies and buy some beef jerky there. That way I can make my next sandwich the correct way.
