Or whatever they call it, I bought 2 PSA Magpul pistol lowers a few weeks ago and finally had time to pick them up today.
salesperson says I was sent to secondary review or something and it should only be a few minutes. :15 or so minutes later he says no word back and that I may as well take off and they'll call when they get the OK 
That was 5 hours ago so now i'm freaking out Do I start drinking or not? they are open till 9PM but i'm guessing the review dickheads at the FBI have gone home for the day but maybe the dealer hasn't checked his email yet and i'm cleared 
I guess I shouldn't have told the FBI and BATFE what I thought of them on their facebook pages

I would assume since they're pistol lowers, that they're being transferred as pistols and subject to WI's stupid additional background check. That may be holding you up as they have moments where they're notoriously slow |

I buy semi regularly from them and they are also my NFA dealer so I hope they'd be cool with me, heck they got 2 of my cans and a factory SBR sitting in back since May and June. |

I have uppers I can run on them but no plans for them so figured I go the once a pistol always a pistol route. |

In Iowa my carry permit lets me bypass the NICS check. Fill out the 4473 and I'm done.
At least that's what I thought, until I was talking to a customer of mine who said he got delayed on a rifle he purchased, because when they ran the NICS check, his name got flagged. He claims it's because him and his dad have the exact same name, and his dad has a couple felonies, and it's not the first time he's been delayed. He also claims he has his carry permit, so I'm wondering how much truth is in his story. I remember the first time I got a gun in Iowa, I filled out the 4473, and then the dealer asked if it was cash or credit. I asked if he needed to phone in the NICS check, and he informed me my carry permit already covered that part. |

I've never had a small chain or local make we wait past the 3. I get delayed so frequently I won't but anywhere that enforces the full wait if I get delayed. I don't recall since having the UPIN of not being Proceed status when the 4th day came, but I generally don't ask. |

The weekend has me wondering if it will effect it and the dealer is closed Mondays. I ordered a PPKS .22lr and that should be in Tuesday as well. Should be interesting how this plays out. |
