Finally was able to get a receiver set manufactured in WI. Saw the review of their rifle on The Firearm Blog and decided to give em a look. Very nice shop in Menomonee Falls, WI. Small but loaded with goodies. Here's the set I chose-
A few things I liked about this, besides the already Cerakoted Sniper Grey, notice the Allen screws vs roll pins to retain the bolt release and keep the rear take down spring in place during removal/installation of the buffer tube. Also one near the grip to tighten up the fit if necessary. Bullet pictograph looks nice, I like the roll mark and Made in WI. Very pleased for a price of $199 from a small shop. Been trying to get a BCM or MI one for a while but they are never available. These guys are not on the site yet but I told em to get a move on, this is the place to be. These come in various colors. Looks to be a well machined, tight fitting good piece of kit to add my 20" Stealth barrel and MBT trigger to. Now to find a Geissele rail in stock to finish it out. |
