I want to build a stock A2 and would like recommendations for which to build. I am more interested in quality over price.

Thanks for the input.

I voted "other" for Bushmaster, simply because they are a known quantity.

M&A uses wilson barrels and has good prices.

I went Oly and was pleased. But you do not get a chrome lined barrel.
Lifetime warranty. great accuracy.

Bushy for best quality. and resale.
I have the DCM bushy.

I have yet to use J&T so can not give opinion on them.

If you want the best and money is not a problem.
Armalite is the way to go.

Or Colt.

How about posting a link for J&T.

I would like to see what they have.

have any of you encountered problems using say, bushmaster lower, oly parts, etc.?  is compatiblity generally there for the  large defense contract producers?  what i want to avoid is buying a lower and parts not fitting, etc.  i have no shop set up to deal with such.

Okay, this is my plan of attack. I want a chrome lined barrel, so I am going with a BM 20" w/ A2 brake. I really like the RRA fit and finish so the rest of the rifle will be their parts. I already have an A2 buttstock and pistol grip I can use. I am hoping Steve at ADCO can cut me a deal on the lower reciever parts kit by crediting me the duplicate parts that come with the 2-stage trigger kit. I think I will end up with one sweet weapon when complete.

A complete BM A3 with a 2-stage trigger and brake comes in at $1,260.90 or if I went with an all BM A3 kit 1,104.35, so I am saving major bucks doing it this way. I think I am getting the best available rifle for the money.

Thanks for the input everyone.
