All my shit comes in 2 days. Except two times and Amazon compensated us for it. And this.... Ordered a TV series that shipped from Dallas, TX that was going to Houston on 09/17.... Here it is the 27th and that tracking # still shows pre-shipment while in USPS possession. 3 days went by and I complained and Amazon immediately jumped on it and FedEx next day aired a replacement. |

Do the items you are buying say PRIME next to them? Not everything on Amazon is Prime eligible. Yes they do do, tried 3 different items. Yep, I got the same thing. Prime instock items will be delivered on Monday, Oct 3rd. |

OP, I see you are in North Dakota.
Amazon works on a local-ish warehouse model. They've got shit all over the country, but ideally they're sending it straight to you from someplace pretty close. Sometimes that's not true. I recently ordered 4 of a product, and got them all (in 2 days) in 4 different packages from 4 different warehouses all over the country. I clearly broke their model with that purchase, and they had to scramble to get me my product. The thing is, I'm in Phoenix. Big city, major airport... you can get it to me. If you're in Bumfuck, North Dakota*... well, for some product, they may not be able to get it to you as quickly as they want to. A complaint will get you something from Amazon, but that's just reality of being able to get stuff to Most of the Amazon Prime complaints we see on here are from big, mostly rural states. Shipping is still a problem to those locations. Amazon will compensate you, but legitimately you are in an expensive-to-serve area. *-Doesn't matter where you are... it's pretty small. I'm in a Suburb of Phoenix (Mesa)... which is 4 times the population of Fargo... and over half that of North Dakota. |

Are you sure Free Two Day shipping is what's checked and not Free Standard shipping? My Free Two day shipping says I'll get it the 29th but the free standard shipping says Oct 4th to get it for me. https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5802/29351046784_c98ddd19ca_z.jpg I would see something similar; I bought 2 books today - will be here tomorrow, free same-day shipping over $35, but I missed the cutoff. I feel like the OP is a little farther from a major airport or an Amazon Distribution center, though. |

They still compensate you for not making the two day shipping. I just got a month added on the 27th of September.
"Hello, I apologize for the inconvenience caused as you didn't receive the items for the order #BLOCKED. That's definitely not what we want our customers to experience. I will surely help you with this. We strive to ship and deliver all the orders on time. We rely on various carriers to deliver our orders to our customers as estimated. In your case, the order was shipped on time but got delayed due to transportation issues. We monitor all of our carriers performance and do take the feedback and complaints of our carriers very seriously. The first thing which I have done in your case is that, I've forwarded the concern to our shipping department so that they can take up this matter with the concerned carrier and arrange to deliver the order as soon as possible. To help compensate for the inconvenience caused, I'd love to offer you these options. 1. I will issue a $10.00 amazon gift card which you can use the next time you order an item sold by Amazon.com. This amount will be applied to your next qualifying order automatically and does not require a claim code. Or, 2. I will extend your Amazon Prime to One-full month for FREE. Please let us know on how you would like us to proceed. Please accept it as a goodwill gesture and an apology for any inconvenience. Once we receive this information we'll immediately take further action. Please be assured that we are here to make things easier for you and will do whatever we can to prevent you from bearing any kind of loss. I hope that you will honor us with another opportunity to prove the quality of our service to you. We look forward to hearing from you soon. We'd appreciate your feedback. Please use the links below to tell us about your experience today. Best regards, Shubham N" |

I use amazon a lot. Say 900 to 1000 items a year.
Ive always been upset with prime. 90% of prime eligible stuff might ship with 2 day shipping, but if it doesnt ship for a werk, what the fuck good is that. I still dont have it for 10 days. Just tonight i ordered dog food as i always do. 2 day shipping, probably wont even ship till monday. Used to ship the next day but hasnt for a year. |

And usually a bit more for the price of the Prime eligible item over what the same item from a non Prime seller has it for. Quoted:

Now when they screw up and ship USPS is a horse of a different color....Still waiting for an original package shipped USPS Priority mail on 09/17 that was going from Dallas to Houston |

I still get all my stuff in 2 days. Prime has me spoiled. Waiting a week for something anymore is torture. Same here. I just bought my first PSA upper and it will probably be my last as 3 business weeks just isn't going to work for me again when being charged immediately. |

prime shipping has changed. it really used to mean you would have it on your doorstep in 48hrs, including saturday. now sat delivery has stopped orders typically wait 24hrs to ship and then the 48hr window seems to start. that and tax free was the main benefit for to prime. starting in nov we pay sales tax on orders and the shipping really isn't a deal anymore. I have also began to find amazon even on prime is typically not the cheapest price anymore. i am seriously up in the air about renewing it this year.
i am finding i am going back to multiple vendors for things again and we never used the video. |

They shipped us an 84lb, 8' Persian rug in two days for free, then shipped it back when we realized the color combo was giving us seizures, then shipped us the replacement again for free and in two days.
I think this might be an individual-item problem and not an Amazon Prime problem. |

I won't bother listing out all the problems I have had with them in the past four months alone. I will say that come November when The Grand Tour is supposed to begin if they try to charge extra to watch it, and not include it with Prime membership, I am cancelling for good and will probably just order everything from random websites like the old days. I do hear good things about newegg...
