Watched the first two episodes, didn't get it. And I see why Anne Heche is on TV now, she has not aged well at all. I suspect a few years of lesbian sex with Ellen Degeneres would make anyone look rough. Watched the first episode, pretty typical SYFY show. I'll watch the rest. |

Wikipedia tells me so. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne_Heche Edit: Oddly enough it overlaps with her spouse by a couple years. |

Outlandish, but I somehow keep watching. It's like a modern day game of thrones, cause dragons So I'm supposed to believe that they are going to leave that lady at the end to kill her husband and then survive on her own? They should have just shot them both with that line of thinking, at least they'd still have the gun. |

Third episode was laughable..... they find full auto m4s in a store..... and of course get in a shootout with some special forces guys over some trycycline...... Please up your game aftermath... you have the potential to at least be entertaining..... Finding full auto M4's was laughable. But the show has a pro gun message. The whole family shoots, often before "asking questions." I think I would rather roll with them than Rick on Walking Dead |

Weird episode I gave up watching after the Banshee showed up at the compound. All of the characters make stupid decisions and don't learn from their mistakes. Like most cheesy Sy Fy shows this one reeks, just like "Z Nation." Stupidity abounds in the writing, like as mentioned full auto M4 rifles in a shopping center, the characters don't communicate (son encounters naked woman in the basement, is attacked by strange man who's body disappears with the naked woman and the son never tells his parents about the encounter), mother encounters Banshee and doesn't think it's important enough to notify the others of this threat, possessed AF SOF guy isn't immediately restrained, Wayne Brady's character attacks a group of heavily armed attackers alone on horseback (his horse would have been shot right away and he would have been killed about as quickly) while he has a whole fort full of armed followers (what are they doing? Taking a group nap?), and on and on and on. I really tried to like this show, but, Sy Fy must have their own band of cheesy, junior high school aged writers that they contract to write stuff that sounds like engaging science fiction, but, turns out to be nothing more than tripe after they suck you in to watching a few episodes. I know that Sy Fy can do better. I watched Channel Zero Candle Cove and while not perfect it was a lot more engaging and had a much better explanation of the happenings than does Aftermath.
