Man killed after falling from moving car on SW Freeway

(6/14/03 - HOUSTON) — Police say alcohol turned one group's trip to the beach into a nightmare.

They say the group was on its way to Crystal Beach when an intoxicated passenger tried to relieve himself out the window on the Southwest Freeway near Fountainview while the truck was moving. The 25-year-old leaned too far, fell out of the truck and got caught underneath the tires. A car behind couldn't stop in time and also ran over him. He died at the scene.

Police are also testing the driver of the truck for alcohol.
