There was an article I read where they talked about all of the movie props re-used in other films. It was interesting. As for "They Live," I love Carpenter, I'm a huge fan, but that movie was a better idea than it was a film. ETA: If you Google "reused movie props," there's a lot of them. (Did you know that the newspaper TLJ is reading in "No Country For Old Men" has appeared in multiple movies and TV shows?) |

South Park has the best homages. They always manage to sneak them in. I snagged "They Live" for $7 on iTunes the other day. Classic Carpenter. I remember watching it as a kid and being fascinated by it. It hasn't aged particularly well, but it's still a favorite of mine. |
