As always, thank you for looking.
Two weeks ago I had surgery to have my left retina reattached. The surgeon also put a gas bubble in that eye. I'm completely blind in that eye right now - trying to see out of that eye is like looking through a fogged over scuba mask. The surgeon said that was normal, and I should start to get vision back within thirty days. I'm at work (my first day full day back) and the searing, burning pain from the overhead lights and the LCD monitors in front of me is indescribable. It is absolutely brutal. I put on my eye patch to try to mitigate the pain, but at this point it isn't helping. Can't leave - I can't see well enough to drive. Called the surgeon's office and am awaiting a callback. What can I do to ease this pain? At this point both eyes are watering badly and getting worse. In addition to the retina they also repaired broken blood vessels in both eyes. Thank you in advance for your help. |
