It's showing up in Va recently. Good, cheap tall boys. How does it taste? It's not bad it's a heavier beer but very flavorful...Cold! So, it is a beer that must be cold to be palatable? |

I've been known to "crush it like Quint" on occasion. I like it better than rice-based adjuncts. http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t136/Gansett2007/JAWSQuint.gif Ha! That scene is on right now. |

As a commercial fisherman IN Narragansett I don't drink it unless Its all I can find. If you could actually buy it for $6 for a 6pack of 16oz cans I might but I call BS on that. If not, which packy? The one down the road from me. Sorry I'm not as higher palate as the rest of youz. |

Narragansett was a very popular cheap beer in New England in the 1970s and 1980s. It's crap. They've been selling it at Fenway Park forever. The Red Sox fans eventually found that Schaeffer was more palatable. |

Quoted: Thanks to this thread I picked up a 12 pack at the gas station down the street. I just had the first one in the shower after cleaning the rain gutters. It was definitely what I needed and it's good to have a new cheap beer, since I can't find Olympia out here. |
