Ever since I've started really getting into guns and concealed carrying (about 4 years now) I've had this recurring dream where I'm in a situation where I need to use my firearm. Whether it be a break in, or an altercation with an assailant, or stopping a mass shooting, I go to pull the trigger and the gun doesn't work. I try to cycle it and it jams, I try to clear the jam and I either can't get the slide open, or the charging handle won't move. I continue to try my hardest to fix the malfunction but it never works.... This time (last night) I somehow survived the encounter and got the slide open on my pistol. I looked into the gun and it was completely corroded. I couldn't see the striker, I couldn't see the ejecter through all the corrosion.
Wtf does this mean? This is the farthest the dream has ever progressed. Anyone else ever have recurring dreams involving weapons? |
