I got DVD set that says "Four disc Collectors Edition" across the top of the box. I cab't really see a difference between Blu Ray and DVD, but my brother says no one should listen to me since I'm blind. Anyhow, here's the releases:
1. Final cut (2007) - Director Ridley Scott finally sets it his way... I don't like it. 2. Theatrical Cut 3. International Theatrical Cut - I believe this was my favorite 4. Director's Cut (1992) - I didn't care for it. |

Yeah, someone will make a sequel/remake and it'll suck balls and no amount of CGI will make up for the suckiness.
In 1982 film makers used models, paintings, and cameral angles to create awesome special effects. Now, everything's digital and damn little of it looks real. |

I know some people in the industry. One of the most amusing things about that movie is that they didn't have any trouble finding an assortment of kooky-looking people in L.A. to serve as extras in the scenes where crowds of people are moving around. The costume and makeup people didn't have to work very hard on them. The Hare Krishnas are actually Hare Krishnas - Not specified at all in the screenplay, they just showed up at the audition and got hired on the spot.  |

One of those rare films where the movie is 10x better than the book (although BR was a pretty loose version of Electric Sheep). I don't care much for Dick's writing - he had good story ideas, but the execution fell short.
I also thought both versions of Total Recall were much better than "We remember it for you wholesale". |
