It would be logical to assume that reloading will be a future target.

ITAR only applies when you import or export somethin and in most cases applies when you export something.

Please explain why a "mom & pop" gunsmithing operation, presumably doing local business, is affected.  If "mom & pop" are importing and exporting firearms as part of their business,...

because he will do everything he can to Fuck gun owners, people are fighting this but if they can't beat it gunsmith prices are going to skyrocket by tons of them simply retiring from it.

People say Obama or Hillary can't do anything without congress,,, really what about this and the other orders he has done, what about using the doj and atf to attack guns as well.

Wrong

"From the EO, we also get a list of processes that are considered manufacturing under ITAR, and DO require registration. These activities include:

any sort of special tooling or equipment upgrading in order to approve the capability of assembled or repaired firearms;
modifications to firearms that change round capacity;
production of firearm parts (including suppressors);
systemized production of ammunition, including automated reloading;
machining or cutting of firearms (including threading of muzzles);
re-chambering through machining, cutting or drilling; chambering, cutting or threading barrel blanks;
blueprinting firearms by machining the barrel.
The above list is most notable for the requirement for registration for someone who threads even just one barrel on a munitions list weapon!"

It also makes no difference if you don;t ever want to import or export anything. I’m not sure when changes were made or if its just “re-interpretation”, but they want everyone who is involved in almost any way to register and pay for ITAR every year, on top of what ATF permits they may or may not already have. Not only is this back door gun control by regulation & registration, it’s also by means of economic hardship to force small businesses out of the industry.

While it’s definitely a push to stifle gun ownership and related businesses, it’s also a push to give benefits of government regulation to large corporations by forcing self employed and small business owners out of the market. It’s just as much about giving power to the elite political donor class and forcing independent business owners into the yoke of working for one of those multinational corporations. Every law passed is for the benefit of the ruling class and their wealthier masters, it is only a means to an end that any law benefits the commoners (ex: environmental protections, welfare,

Those who are financially independent of the job market are usually the most vocal about more government control, taxation, etc. and have the time and money to pursue a redress of grievances. Small business owners who offer good pay and working environment also often have loyal employees who are of a like mind to support the company’s owner over a corrupt government siding with corporations intent on creating a global economy of worker bees who place in the lowest common denominator of intelligence and earnings.

Shopping at Walmart and banking with BofA, is selling your kids into a future of share cropping and serfdom. In a generation or two the only path for upward mobility will be selling out your friends, family and neighbors to the Stasi for extra beet rations (or fill in your nightmare Orwellian dystopian future reference here).

Of course, they can interpret things however they want and will make it fit any given situation.
