At the gun show I saw a few guns with all the conceivable bells and whistles, and I thought is more really better? I personally like the stock AR with no more than two or three accessories.
How many accessories do you have on your AR-15?

I have only 2-4 extras that aren't a replacement for a original part (like a grip or sling swivel).
Those are: bolt-on accessory rail, vertical foregrip, tactical light, and sometimes a red dot. All are there for practical purposes; to improve handling, speed up target acquisition, and illuminate potential threats. All my center fire rifles are built for defensive purposes, and I generally ignore trendy stuff.
