I don't know what I was thinking not getting the hood |
| So far the Eco diesel would be worth considering to me, and I considered buying one before I got my 2013 f150. Probably a good thing I did not because I don't think it would like my short trips to work. I am definitely NOT a fan of the giant manufacturer logos on the grill and tailgate. |

Loved that little pickup but it was just too small. Now I have a 2016 Ram 2500 CCLB diesel. |

That's a ram rebel. your thread title is misleading. You're acting like that's a standard ram. It's still sexy. Looks way better than the alternatives concur They look better then old models for sure. Still the worst looking truck. |

A few decades from now, people will react to truck styling from the mid-2010's in much the same way as we react to car styling from the mid-1950's: http://www.skibane.com/57_Desoto.jpg They'll point at it, and laugh. We certainly will:

is the RAM on the tailgate removable?
I cannot believe they did that on the new ones what the hell were they thinking its like a freaking billboard I debadged mine anyways but if that giant ram logo is bolted on instead of adhesive I would be some kind of pissed off ETA: dont care for the Tundraesque grills either
I like the way a Tundra looks but the Ram copy of it is just.... blahhh |

Why is it not the DODGE Ram anymore. Why are they acting like "Ram" is a separate company now? Why drop the Dodge from the name? ....because they're NOT Dodge Rams anymore? Because Ram spun off into it's own company several years ago, and they're not Dodge anymore?

Why is it not the DODGE Ram anymore. Why are they acting like "Ram" is a separate company now? Why drop the Dodge from the name? Since 2008 or 2009, Ram is a separate brand like Dodge or Chrysler. They wanted to focus Ram on the truck buyers and the other two on cars/minivans/etc. Technically Ram trucks are not Dodge vehicles. They just have the same parent company. |

How is that a benefit since it's all still owned by the same company? It's a Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F150. So it's a Ram Ram? |

Have a Ram Rebel and love it.
Very comfortable, with the air suspension and nice seats - everyone who rides with me loves it too
I'm wondering if the 17in wheels/factory 33s help? The hemi has been excellent, and the A/T tires are great. All the looks and toughness of the raptor, without the 70k pricetag for it. The Raptor is a factory baja truck, awesome machine and I'm so happy they make it. But if you're looking for an F-150 FX4 competitor that's a little more purpose built? I believe the Rebel is it. I think Ram has a winner. I very much like the direction of the brand since the brand split and the Fiat takeover, I honestly do. I believe that most of the hate directed at Ram today, (most, not all) comes from people who haven't given the brand a serious look in over 10 years. Haven't sat in one, haven't driven one, etc |
