The slang is so thick I couldn't understand half of what they were saying. Still enjoyed it. You have to watch with the subtitles on.....
Watched it last weekend with subtitles myself. Was a good movie, the stories at the end were well done to bring it together. |
| Had my finger on the button on this one last night. Was between it and 16 Blocks, ended up watching 16 Blocks, I'll give this one a try tonight but if y'all are complaining about slang/accents then I know I'll struggle, can't understand Brits for shit. Guess it'll be with subtitles.... |

Watched it last night actually. Had a hard time hearing words. Just followed the scenes. Man they were in a tight spot, I can't imagine. Watched Jarhead 3 last night also. Thought it was better than 2 and what I remember of 1. Had some good gun play, but some not so good gun play in it. |

I had no idea it was a true story. I watched it and enjoyed it, but kept saying to myself "this is just dumb, no way is this realistic"..... then i got to the end and it showed them all in real life and their story..... kinda depressing I thought just the opposite - I couldn't get over just how realistic it was... |

Yea. I don't like the screaming. In war the screaming is what would keep me awake. I had an uncle who was awarded a Silver Star in the Korean War. He got it because he risked his life to run into a field being raked by enemy machine gun fire, and drag a wounded lieutenant who was laying in the field back to the (comparative) safety of hard cover. Years later, every time he was asked about it, he always said that the reason he did it had nothing to do with wanting to be a "hero." He said that the reason he did it was simply because he could not stand listening to that guy screaming anymore. Kilo Two Bravo reminded me strongly of that. |

Quoted: Anybody else watch this movie? Brit paratroopers in A-stan. I thought it was pretty good. It's on Netflix. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3622120/ http://popandpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/kajaki.jpg http://theactionelite.com/site/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/screenshotkajaki-600x253.png That viet nam vet , a little guy with an M1 carbine was stopped by an officer , the crazy guy advanced on the officer even as the officer fired at him, the officer got so flustered he forgot all his training and made fatal errors. Sad ending for sure

Great movie, well worth the watch...but tough to sit through.
...oh, had to keep the subtitles on, there was no way I could keep up with what they were saying. All I could keep imagining was the scene from Snatch with Avi: Blagged? Speak English to me, Tony. I thought this country spawned the fucking language, and so far nobody seems to speak it. |
