Has the UFC 200 thread been started? If not, screw Jon Jones. If it has, screw Jon Jones.
I think Daniel Cormier is going to destroy Anderson Silva (just my opinion). And the Lesner/Hunt fight should be crazy. EDIT: For fun, the first three people who can successfully call the entire under card & main card BEFORE it starts (simply win/lose - no other details needed) will get a brand new Gen 2 PMAGs shipped to them (CONUS only). Silva will ko dc 2nd round. Hunt will ko lesner 1st round. My guess Your guess on the Hunt/Lesner fight might be spot on, unless it goes to the ground quickly. Then it will be hammer fists until Hunts head comes off his neck. However, DC is a legit Heavyweight cutting down to 205, whereas Silva had to pack on everything he had and still couldn't tip the scale above 200. If Jon Jones didn't have the power to knock him out, I don't see Silva with a chance in hell, but it's going to be fun to watch. And it's my 40th birthday! WOO me! Quoted:

What I hope will happen
Silva KO's Cormier with some flashy spinny-kick-punch-elbow thing that we've never seen before; then yells "I'm back bitch!!" in Portuguese. Lesnar doesn't flinch and back up, and he's learned how to check a kick. He punches Hunt's face off of his face.  but I don't think that's gonna happen.

Cormier is a NATURAL Heavyweight about as much as Brandon Vera was. He is short and packs weight(fat) on. When Cormier stays at fighting weight, he is a Natural LW. Nobody with his stature should fight HW. He is just a guy that has cut a bit. If you are naturally 220lbs you should most likely not be a heavyweight contender. With only a few exceptions. DC just gets chunky. When he is a good fighting lean, he should stick to LHW. I am a DC now days. I hope he dominates tonight. |
