I have had 3 suspicious/trespassing calls in the last hour because of this fucking Pokémon Go game!
Seriously, what the fuck are grown ass men doing driving around at 0400 playing a fucking Pokémon game?
Do these people not have jobs?? |

are there any nearby landmarks? the game treats those as like, treasure chests where they get free shit or "gyms" they can take over to make in game currency. If you consider the city water tower a "landmark" And its not something they can just drive by, or park in the parking lot. Its in the middle of a field and they have to get out on foot... with flashlights... to get close enough. |

It's Google Ingress, but with cute little monsters. Yep. A couple guys at work started playing that. They're younger than I am. (I'm 40 this year, they're earlier 30s) Pokemon became a thing not too long after I graduated highschool. I played some Ingress, but most of the stuff in Ingress are landmarks and artworks in public spaces. |

Most of ours are pretty benign, like the post office or the church. Just pull into the parking lot, do your thing and move on. But the fucking water tower? In the middle of a field?? And according to the last group, its a "super special" spot... I predict more fuckery at the water tower

I get that, hell I'm all for video games getting people off their asses. But there is a time and place for it... 4am with flashlights at the water tower isn't it |
| You think its a joke, but pokemon (pocket monsters - demons) one of the later things of the 1990s along with doom and other killer games. I have seen many kids completely obsessed with pokemon, under that unflence in a way that is not healthy or good. psychic abilities always people to the dead. they want to gloat over the body and how punishment was escaped but leaving behind a body always in the flesh but never of a believer |

I saw an article on Kotaku from Australia, the police stations were stops. They had to put out an announcement that you didn't need to actually enter their stations to collect. Lots of random people just walking into stations, never looking up from phones or speaking.
Heck, I just checked FoxNews after posting this and they even have an article up. Fox News Pokemon article From the article: Zubats and Paras have appeared on car dashboards. Caterpies have been spotted at intersections . Police in Darwin, Australia, have even asked players not to waltz into their station, which of course is a Pokestop in the game. "You don't actually have to step inside in order to gain the pokeballs," the Northern Territory Police Fire and Emergency Services says on its Facebook page. |

Do these people not have jobs?? These are the guys who grew up with the original games. I tried playing one years ago. Wasn't really my thing. |
There is a Gym in a building/ SCIF I work security at. At 2am when I was the only person in the building I was getting people slowly driving by in there cars in my parking lot outside my office trying to get close enough to the gym. Went fishing yesterday along the Jordan River with a buddy of mine, the entire 7 mile stretch of the trail / river were mainly people of all ages staring at there phones looking for Pokemon in the 100 degree heat. Even in some of the secluded dense brush spots I was trying nail cat fish at we were having groups of people popping out of the brush asking us if we have seen any water pokemon in the area.
