There is probably much more to the story, but there are a number of screwy things going on.



I would not be surprised if both the judge and reporter were being less than honest and upright.

The reporter and the editor issued subpoenas to banks for account information?  What kind of goofy assed shit is that?

They make an open records request for copies of "checks cashed illegally," and the judge seeks to have them charged for making false statements? Why not just reply with "No such record exists."
