Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan is seen by some as code for "Make America White Again." Blacks and Latinos have been spit upon and assaulted at some Trump rallies. < lie, they have done the assaulting I haven't rationalized it before but the general concept of this article brought a why to the oddness of the past few years. Had an older black co-worker ask many times "I never heard, Make America Great Again, till Obama got elected". I kept telling him that there could be a 1000 people in the room and that statement could mean something different to each one of them. It's just a campaign slogan. "No, white people don't want a black man as President". My response was to point out the ethnic percentages in the US and tell him he couldn't have won without white voters, and a lot of them. But he kept asking the same question. ^ has had me scratching my head for a while. The CNN article kinda sheds light on it for me. Last week or so I've been thinking it may be part of a Rosa Parks syndrome, I do what I want, when I want. Granted I think she was right but I think a large portion of the black population have taken that to mean "I can get whatever I want, however I want, and nobody can say or do anything about it". The knockout game, black kid that just sucker punched the white kid with brass knuckles, riots over someone getting shot for attacking a LEO, white people playing as black, DOJ investigating a black man that hung himself. Things seem topsy-turvy and quite frankly, my opinions have changed drastically in the past 8 years. |
| The only thing I got from your post was you had a little white guilt and now you sort of don't. As far as racial divide there always has been but with fifty years of anti-white propaganda the whites have adopted black cultural and allowed themselves to become second class citizens. The way they (people of color) act now with the knockout games etc is nothing new. They have always been violent its just that now they can get away with it. |

Quoted: "We president now!" Prior to this, it was "let's all try to get along to the best of our abilities." Sure, there were racists on both sides, but overall, integration into society was very, very high. Now, there is a movement to "embrace diversity" which is a code-word for unlawful, non-social behavior. It's all about lack of repercussions for your actions now, because the police have demonstrated that they will ignore unlawful, violent behavior. |

They get fired and prosecuted for trying to save their own lives and accused of sparking the riot. Why would they stick there neck out for someone else's life, let alone property. EDIT: "we president now" was a big tell tell of what was to come. |

Because it will be missed, I edited my previous post with "Edit: All social handouts have ballooned under him, but he can not be blamed for many of the startups. ie, who is to blame for the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act. Lay blame where blame is due."
We seem to be trying to have a gang bang, instead of staying on original topic. |

"We president now!" I think that attitude, more than anything, is what has caused a lot of the tension and divisiveness of the past few years. People went from a spirit of trying to get along and working toward equality to a spirit of entitlement, vindictiveness, and superiority. That same attitude has shown up in the latest iteration of feminism as well. It's disappointing, to say the least. |

Your fact check is full of shit! Look on your phone bill for "universal service fee", or something similar. That is how the subsidized phones are funded. It is most certainly a tax, and the only way to avoid it is to not own a phone, which is not feasible in 2016. |

Honestly it's relatively low compared to some of our other spending. It's the culture and mental that it creates that I have a problem with. I really don't have a problem with helping people, sometimes good people go through a bad time and need help, ok. But when this "help" has basically become a tool to keep people dependent on this system and voting a certain way, yea it's a problem. I want people to be able to help themselves. |

A black man stabbed to death a 21 year old girl who was a manager at raising canes this week in Nola.
I have not seen a story lately where a white girl has stabbed a black man to death. Statistics are racist. Until we accept what's going on, we can't help those people who need it. I.e. You need to hold people accountable and stop making special classes of people. |

The pool of people that want to blame someone other then them selves for their "hard ships" only grows larger by the day. Many people can't better their lives without the "I'm a victim", sympathy advantage. Democrats know this, exploit it, and can't win elections without giving people something they "can't", or in most cases, "won't" do for them selves. Is there racism? Yes, will it "ever" end, no.....
About the phone. What difference does it "really" make if Obama was directly related or not, when this lady was plastered all over the media in the 2012 election? The handout bunch (Democrats) showed up for phones, healthcare, welfare, food stamps, you name it. Obama Phone Lady “I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.” |

Elite K-8 school teaches white students they’re born racist
Administrators at the Bank Street School for Children on the Upper West Side claim it’s a novel approach to fighting discrimination, and that several other private New York schools are doing it, but even liberal parents aren’t buying it. “Ever since Ferguson, the school has been increasing anti-white propaganda in its curriculum,” said a parent who requested anonymity because he has children currently enrolled in the school
The program, these parents say, deliberately instills in white children a strong sense of guilt about their race. Some kids come home in tears, saying, “I’m a bad person.” They say white kids are being brainwashed into thinking any success they achieve is unearned. Indeed, a young white girl is seen confessing on a Bank Street video: “I feel guilty for having a privilege I don’t deserve.” |

Some of the biggest arguments I've had recently are with people unwilling to acknowledge differences. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being able to acknowledge differences, man/woman, black/white, gay/straight, whatever. Being able to acknowledge that there is a difference is the first step towards tolerance or solving problems. They seem to think even acknowledging difference is what makes the divide, it isn't. Resentment is. |

But being able to acknowledge a difference and not giving a fuck (even if you don't agree with it) is way better than trying to deny there is any difference at all. Trying to force people to get along by seemingly trying to trick them isn't going to work, which seems be the lefts tactic. Then bash the ones who try point out the flaw in this for not being tolerant .

Just remember every year we allow in about one million legals and I would imagine most will be left of center.
We allow in thousands of asylum seekers and I would imagine most are left of center. More dems are registered to vote then repubs, so even if Trump wins this round it is just a matter of time before anyone with a right of center thought is ever elected to POTUS again. |
