Those are probably kilo plates, so add a few here and there on each plate.

He turns 90 this year and will be attempting a new world record for his weight class.  Not sure what he's going to try to pull, I'm tempted to drive up and watch it.

Yeah...  I don't see 303 there.  But who the hell knows?

If those were four 45lb plates (which his plates look thinner than 45's) and a pair of 25's on the sides....  With a 45 pound bar, and 5 each for the collars...    180+50+55+10 =  285 pounds.  Again, who knows.  And really?  Who cares?  Good on him!!!

Usually those collars are 15 each. Also I don't believe the competition plates are 45lb

When he's old and his body is all worn out with bulging discs he's going to regret lifting so heavy in his youth.

Wait...

Can't tell if he is arching his back due to poor form or if his back is already rounded due to old age

In any case, I'd like to buy that man a beer

The trick is to lift them one at a time.

Works every time.

Jesus Christ.   It's a fucking competition.   They know the weight.

A little rounding is fine.   He did not hitch it.   That was a good pull.

The red plates are 25kg, so about 55lbs each. Assuming that's a 20kg deadlift bar, and another 5kg for the collars, that's about 275lbs before the change plates also on the bar. Can't see them clearly, so can't guess. So 303 is probably right on, and I can only hope to still lift like that in my advanced years! Good lift!
