Ok, I ended up working a lot of OT and I should be left with a little extra to get something I want/need since I normally don't get to as it usually goes towards Family needs.

With that said I need help on trying to decide which to go with. I really need a new hunting Jacket/cold gear. Nothing is worse than sitting in a tree stand freezing cold.... But I've wanted a Sig 938 ever since they came out.

Haven't decided on which jacket and maybe some bibs.... But that may be a cheaper option. However I keep wanting to put it toward the Pistol I've been wanting for quite some time now.

I can't get both if I get the pistol because, let's face it, the sig is a spendy little gun. Plus, I'd also need a holster and ammo.

One thing to consider, If I wait on the jacket, I can get it cheaper after hunting season as prices usually drop drastically. The one I was looking at was on sale for around 160 after last years season, but back up to 300+ now... So I could potentially hold out a little longer on the jacket, save money by getting it cheaper and it's easier to get. I just HATE being cold. So that's why I keep going back and forth.

Help me decide!

This is why I keep going back and forth.

Be able to carry a smaller gun to conceal better during the summer, or be warmer during the winter.

Problem becomes, I can potentially get the original jacket I was looking at cheaper after the season is over and just "make due" until then. That's why it's hard to decide.... Pay full price because I want to he warmer, or tough it out for the season to get it cheaper.

However, if I find another jacket that is more expensive and is worth it before, I doubt it drop that much in price. For example a Sitka incinerator is like $500! Doubt that would go too much lower. Granted I don't want to spend that much, but just an example.

Well you can't shoot anything or defend yourself with the jacket but then again the gun won't keep you warm

Tough call brother

Couple friends have the SIGs.  I find them heavy, over priced and not all that special.

My primary is a Sig 229, so it won't seem all that heavy lol

If he needs the 938 at some point and doesn't have it, he may not need anything ever again.

If you buy the jacket, what will you have left in 5 years?  If you buy the pistol and assuming you keep it, what would you have left in 5 years?  There is your answer.

Come to my thread in Team. We'll find you a jacket that won't break the bank.

Then go buy the 938. It's my favorite carry gun.

What is your thread?

I'm debating between Cabela's Stand Hunter Extreme, or the Sitka Fanatic Jacket
