I have been looking at the "250" size quadcopters and kits. Is there a good resource that will explain which parts are good buys and which parts are junk? On the other hand are there any prebuilt units or full kits that are solid and not overpriced?

First Quad Build:

Quad: $99.00
Spedix 250
Radio And Receiver: $45.00
FlySky
FPV Camera And Transmitter. Optional: $29.99
Eachine 700TVL 1/3 Cmos FPV 110 Degree Camera w/32CH Transmitter

You'll need a monitor or goggles if you want to do FPV. Obviously, you'll need a battery. I use an 1800 mAh Lumenier. Hobby King has everything you'll ever need.
