Woman killed escorted ducks on freeway

Heard on the scanner "Vehicle vs Pedestrian" accident on HWY 30.  This is a 4-lane freeway section of road and my first thought was WTF is a pedestrian doing there.  I have seen people damn near cause traffic pile ups over ducks/geese before.  People seem to have some poor risk assessment skills.

I like this pro-tip from the article.  Guess my pop was right when he said "don't play in the road, you'll get killed".
