I was just putzing around town taking photos today and randomly came across a fairly small (50 ish) car auto show. There were some absolute classics there though. I am between the candy apple red Chevy, pewter Goat, or the sexy as holy hell Boss 302 for my favorite. Btw that Boss only has 68k on the odo and is nearly all original parts.
And no, this is nowhere near all the shots. As always, I just picked and chose my favorites. I ended up cutting it short as it was starting to rain pretty good. If it clears out, I'll head back out again.

I'm impressed, especially for Alaska. Wouldn't have expected many collectors up there. At least you know they're garage kept.

I think there will be a lot more in the 4th of July weekend stuff. I'm hoping to see a few guys I know get their cars out there. Hell, there is one well known guy in town with a Jay Leno style garage full of stuff. He'll tool around in his early 2000's Lamborghini Murciélago for giggles. First time I saw it, I thought I was losing my mind. 
A lot of folks spend the winters restoring cars. Hell of a hobby for the long dark IMO. Quoted:

Thanks  I can't afford to shoot, so I put a couple hundred shots though my camera every month I'd love to see some real Alaska shows up here though, but it'll never happen. I can wish though.

That Boss 302 is pretty....But...
If he says "It's all original!" He's pulling your leg (at least a little). The engine bay tells me that the engine, and engine area (again, at least) have been redone. Nothing wrong with that, but, He's trying to pass it off as something it isn't. Love cars, Grew up elbow deep in them. Right where they are from (The Motor City). Dad & FIL worked for Ford for over 37 years each. We have a little car show every summer.Woodward Dream Cruise If you like classic cars...You have to come to the place to see them! Tall Shadow |

Curious Yellow. The only car color ever named for a porno movie. No joke, Bing it. That 68 Cougar is bad ass. The car next to it is a 1976-77 Volare / Roadrunner. Those are a rare sight in any state or show. |

Oh, that's what the mini car is called? Yeah, that thing was *immaculate* inside and out. I was amazed by it really. The paint on the Ford was beautiful, the photos don't do it justice, as it was a freaking mirror. Just smooth and polished as hell. Sexy car. |

Now that I think about it, I still need to edit and post that photo. I'll do it later today. But I'm off to the range to use the wide angle lens a bit more before I return it to the camera shop.
