I was expecting a bunch of foreign stuff. I was happy that was not the case.

I'm impressed, especially for Alaska. Wouldn't have expected many collectors up there. At least you know they're garage kept.

Great pics! There's a small car show around here every Saturday night, you get everything from classics to Lambos, it's always a good show.

|
Cool pics. I was afraid you had found an Alaska 10 to pose with the cars before I clicked.

I'm impressed, especially for Alaska. Wouldn't have expected many collectors up there. At least you know they're garage kept. There are a ton of collector cars up here that are well kept. I think there will be a lot more in the 4th of July weekend stuff. I'm hoping to see a few guys I know get their cars out there. Hell, there is one well known guy in town with a Jay Leno style garage full of stuff. He'll tool around in his early 2000's Lamborghini Murciélago for giggles. First time I saw it, I thought I was losing my mind. A lot of folks spend the winters restoring cars. Hell of a hobby for the long dark IMO. Quoted:
What engine is in the Torino ? I was curious myself but the owner wasn't around when I walked by. First one I've ever seen in person though. Hell of a nice car. |

The 'cuda 340's intake looks like a 10-gallon hat up there!
Nice pix, good show. |

Thanks for the photos. Temps look a heck of a lot cooler than we had here the last several days.

It was nice bumping into people I haven't seen in years, including an arfcommer or two. You probably saw the fat guy in a bright blue shirt wandering around with a camera *waves* |

With all the damned Alaska shows on TV now, and all the damned car restoration shows, they can't tie them together and bring all these beauties to TV for us?
Great camera work. |

Thanks I can't afford to shoot, so I put a couple hundred shots though my camera every month I'd love to see some real Alaska shows up here though, but it'll never happen. I can wish though. Quoted:
Love that mustang That thing is sex on wheels. Always wanted a Boss 302 but damn that one is in insane shape. |

Thanks OP
That '70 Boss 302 is drop-dead gorgeous Good to see that cars that rare, that pristine, still get driven. That's what they're for |
|
Had a friend who went to the same one. Dumped a whole fuckton of snaps on that Torino

That Boss 302 is pretty....But...
If he says "It's all original!" He's pulling your leg (at least a little). The engine bay tells me that the engine, and engine area (again, at least) have been redone. Nothing wrong with that, but, He's trying to pass it off as something it isn't. Love cars, Grew up elbow deep in them. Right where they are from (The Motor City). Dad & FIL worked for Ford for over 37 years each. We have a little car show every summer.Woodward Dream Cruise If you like classic cars...You have to come to the place to see them! Tall Shadow |

Very nice! I have a friend up there with a whole slew of cool cars. I imagine he was there.

Curious Yellow. The only car color ever named for a porno movie. No joke, Bing it. That 68 Cougar is bad ass. The car next to it is a 1976-77 Volare / Roadrunner. Those are a rare sight in any state or show. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'll surf google when I get home. Gotta to return the lens I used for all this. |

I was amazed by it really. The paint on the Ford was beautiful, the photos don't do it justice, as it was a freaking mirror. Just smooth and polished as hell. Sexy car. |

Those engines are too clean to be driven. Any photos of the trailers

Now that I think about it, I still need to edit and post that photo. I'll do it later today. But I'm off to the range to use the wide angle lens a bit more before I return it to the camera shop. |

For a small show it looks like it had a decent selection of cars. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

What's year are the trucks? By the time we left BTT50's on Saturday, my daughter had decided she wanted a 1948-1954 Chevy pickup. I'm trying to educate myself a bit in case one (or similarly styled one) drops into my lap for a nickel. Edited when I realized I you had 2 trucks posted |
