TLDR: Go see it. Like most things in life, it is probably better if you see it with a group of friends or have a slight buzz or both.
Just went and saw Range 15. I liked it. Some kid talked him mom into letting him watch it and she walked him out of the theater while she bitched at him, which was kind of worth it (poor kid got grounded in a full theater by a hambeast mom). It is basically a great amateur film. It wont win any awards, the special effects and filming anyone here could do with a small budget, but it was fun and I had a good time and laughed hard enough to make people around me feel uncomfortable. Pros: Goes out of its way to be completely politically incorrect. Mostly dick jokes and homo jokes. Funny product placement. Silly gun play. Midgets. If you have a sick fucked up sense of humor you will like it. Bad jokes are still mostly good. Shows what happens to a anti gun family in the Zombie Apocalypse. Not made by Hollywood and better than most films they put out anyway, as it would upset them. Cons: It was disjointed in editing but honestly that was part of the charm. The audio mixing kind of sucked through part of the movie that may have been the theater though. Probably could have used some more titties. |

We let the guys at Article 15 use one of our 5-tons and a HMMWV for filming so they repaid us with tickets to their screening tonight. A few of my staff were actually extra's in the movie and they were so happy to be part of it. I passed on my ticket so another staff member could enjoy it but glad to hear your review is about what I expected.

Will it be in theatres soon? Wasn't today a pre-screening? The only tickets I could find were for today and they sold out weeks ago Not sure if it will be. What one of the other guys in the theater said is that Sony is apparently very upset about the film because they would not change the content. Dont know if that was true or not but he seemed to be a mega fan. |

Cool that your staff got to be extras. |

Saw it here in Rhode Island, one time event so far.....it was a great B movie. Better than most of the shit Hollywood has been putting out. Laughed my ass off through the whole thing. the theater here was packed with younger vets and a few old farts like me. Nearly all were military/veteran. Hope it gets wider release, it deserves it. |
