So I am trying to replace 6ft wood fencing panels which have decent wood posts supporting them in nails. The thin dogwood pieces of the panels are failing after many years of being up.

Anyone dealt with replacing panels lately? Any  chain stores offer reasonably decent PT panels? I am thinking of using open box mounts screwed into the sides of old posts, previois panels were nailed into the posts from front. Thanks for any tips guys. I didn't post this in home security as it is just a wood privacy fence.

I'm doing this now, bit by bit. (290' of 6' privacy fence) I do a few panels a weekend.

Did away with the wood posts and went with pipe. The cross pieces are bolted to the pipe.  I buy everything from a local fence supply place and use screws instead of nails.
