Neither of our vehicles have a front audio plug in.

We have tried the FM transmitters and they are junk, but don't want to spend the $200.00 on an integrated bluetooth kit.

So I'm looking for an adapter that attaches to the antenna cable in some fashion, and when used the front audio adapter overrides the antenna feed.

Anything like this?

Thanks.

Negative, your best bet, imho, is a Bluetooth kit.

Ir, depending on vehicle, a $70 pioneer headunit from walmart

I don't know about the antenna attached ones, but I use THIS TRANSMITTER

I don't even need to pick a dead station with it, it will overpower a regular FM station. Works far better than any other transmitter I have ever tried.

Based on the fact they have neither bluetooth or aux-input, I assume your vehicles are pretty old.  This should make it pretty easy to upgrade to a basic aftermarket unit, something in the $100 range, that would be a huge improvement.

A $70 headunit would be lightyears ahead of any FM modulator, even overriding the antenna plug.

I looked into upgrading, but don't want to make the vehicles targets for breaking the windows to steal the damn receivers.

Both are GM double units in an 04' and 05' sierra/yukon respectively.

The yukon has the bose stuff in it.

No one is going to kick in your window for a $60 JVC head unit.

The thing is, they will kick it in firstly, then figure out it's a $60 unit.

Either way, not happening.

I ended up splicing into the XM radio outputs and it worked as advertised.

Thanks all for the input.
