Always liked these. Went to school with two guys that had em and went wheeling often.

But holy smokes, 45-80k for one is just nuts.

Is the juice really worth the squeeze?

You mean 90/110?

My friend had a 110.  I didn't care for it that much.  He never took it off road either.

ETA this one sold for $60k.

the cost is due to availability.

Do you want a completely restored vehicle, with AC and all the bells and whistles? If not and you are ok with a bare bones diesel, they can be had for much less. <$20k will get you a nice ex-MOD 90 or 110.
That being said, they are rust buckets and have weak points that don't affect the Land Cruisers of a similar vintage. Can't beat them for style though.

the 110 is a seriously sexy beast.

Not worth the $$ though.

Once again, you can thank our fucked up gov and retarded regulations for the lack of availability here stateside.

I want a 110 crazy bad and have looked into importing one. The care and maintenance plus cost to restore/upgrade isnt worth it at this point in my life...

I am going to restore my old 96 Landcruiser and put a chevy LS motor in it. It will be way cheaper, parts are way more plentiful and there are way more options.

Just a thought.

I had a buddy who bought a 110 new and sold it before the warranty was up because, and I quote, "There's no way in hell I can afford it after the warranty runs out". I think the factory warranty was 4 years then.
