| Can anyone that knows about these things help with an issue I'm having? I turn it on like it says to but it won't connect with my tablet. The controller just beeps and the app just shows the how to connect screen. What am I doing wrong? |

Hmm. Yes to firmware upgrade...and sometimes they take a while to do it. But I guess if you're already exchanging that'll take care of that. The controller was telling me it aborted the upgrade because it had the current or older version of firmware already on it. When I would open the dji go app the controller kept telling me to upgrade the Inspire controller firmware. I don't even have the Inspire drone. |

I tho the Pro uses the 1.8.8 but the advanced uses a slightly different version. Did you try plugging your phone into the controller and updating it via the app? That is the quickest way even though most instructions say to upload the firmware onto the cameras microsd card then using the card reader adapter to upload to the controller. Hang with it. Once you get it fired up, it is a blast! |

Quoted: The replacement drone came and it works perfectly. I'm using an iPad mini 4 and am very happy. http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt105/joeh177/foto_no_exif_zpsyym5gkdi.jpg I wish I could fly right around my house....too close to airports though. |
