Im sorry. but, damn desert marpat looks stupid when its worn not in the enviroment it was supposed to be worn in.

At least I earned the right to where them and I'll do it wherever the F**K I want!!! [booze] I do agree M4 but actually, when Grock was setting targets in the pit, A couple of us comment on how well it matched the dirt/earth color at even a short distance - given a low light situation, we may not have even seen him ! |

Yeah, it may not look very good up close in that terrain. However, if anyone has seen pictures of mossyoak, realtree, etc. from a distance, you will notice more times than not, that the more specific the pattern and the darker it is, the more it stands out. Take deer, lions, etc. for instance. Just plain brown usually. I've done a lot of deer hunting, and let me tell you, after a while you develop the "eye", but even after that they are still very hard to see when standing still.
