Anyway the answer - Mainly a constitutional conservative. Smaller government, doesn't blurt out childish derp. can stand up to any interview or interviewer without acting childish. Those traits help. Don't worry though, because we know you guys are, but most of us are voting for your clown anyway just like we did McStain and Ronney. We didn't like it then and we don't like it now. We just don't get the insane love and adoration for him. To us you may as well have been rabid McCain or rabid Romney supporters. We just do not get the love over such a shit candidate. But fuck it once again we get to vote for the most liberal on the ticket

Cruz is as close as it has come in my lifetime. that said, I could have supported several candidates that were running at the beginning of the race. Not trump. I have never liked trump, never. The first time I saw him I knew he was a con man. That was 30+ years ago. Nothing has changed except he has fooled a lot of people into thinking he would be a good president. |

If they were even registered at all. Your vote doesn't matter in NY; registering only puts your name into the jury selection pool. The super-rich only need to register for access to the controlling party's closed fundraisers. |

My ideal candidate would want to reduce the size and scope of the federal government, and have a consistent enough track record to be believable.
Excuse me for my childish libertarian pipe dream. I guess I will end up voting for the big city liberal that I hate the least

Trump people got the warning well in advance that those of us who are actual conservatives in principle would not support him if he got the nomination. They didn't listen and voted him in anyway. I have no sympathy for all the pathetic political panhandling for Trump votes on this site on a daily basis. If they wanted me to go and vote this election, they could've nominated a conservative that fit my demands. But they chose instead to worship at the feet of a politician who promised them "hope and change with a twist of 'Murica". |
