I have a Motorola Droid Maxx II. Love it. This weekend it automatically "upgraded" to lollipop. what a piece of shit!

Now the power button works only about 20% of the time. Can't turn it on to use it without fucking with it for a couple minutes.

Is it possible to undo this downgrade, and go back to what I had?

I'm way too impatient to deal with this. If I have to root (what ever that means) I will. Well, actually I'll pay a smart person to do it.

Yes you can root.
You don't need a smart person, just a 15yo.

Buy a phone that isn't full of carrier bloatware and shitty add-ons to Android.
